Space Chat in MeetMo.io allows team members to communicate through text during meetings without interrupting the presentation. This guide explains how to use the Space Chat feature, including searching, exporting chat history, and organizing text.

Steps to Use Space Chat:

1. Access the Chat Panel:

• Click the Chat icon in the toolbar. You will see two options: Space Chat and AI Chat. Select Space Chat for team communication.

2. Sending Messages:

• The text bar at the bottom of the chat panel is where you type your messages. You can add emojis to your messages using the face icon next to the text bar.

• Press Enter to move to a new line and organize your text. Your message will be sent when you either click the Send button or press Ctrl + Enter.

3. Searching the Chat:

• Use the search bar at the top of the chat panel to find specific content within the ongoing conversation.

4. Chat History and Exporting:

• After the meeting, the chat’s cache is automatically cleared for browser efficiency. However, a PDF export of the chat history is saved in the File Manager, accessible to all members with the appropriate permissions. This ensures that the chat history is available for future reference.

5. Switching Between Space Chat and AI Chat:

• You can switch between Space Chat and AI Chat at the top of the chat panel. For now, focus on Space Chat, and we’ll cover AI Chat in more detail in future tutorials.
