Directors in MeetMo.io have complete control over the space, with the ability to manage themes, devices, feeds, and all aspects of the production. This guide outlines the key responsibilities and permissions available to directors, allowing them to ensure smooth and professional productions.

Director’s Responsibilities and Permissions:

1. Full Space Control:

  • As the director, you can control the overall layout and design of the space. This includes who appears on screen and where, as well as the hierarchy of each user. You can designate users as Primary, Secondary, or Hidden through the Users List and remove users from the meeting if necessary.

2. Managing Devices and Feeds:

  • Directors can control the devices and feeds coming into the space. This includes switching between different video feeds, cutting from one to another, and managing livestreams. You have the power to record, cut, mix, and augment the live production in real time.

3. Layout Customization:

  • By clicking on the space layout settings, you can customize how the space looks. In the horizontal layout, for example, you can drag the line in the middle of the screen to adjust the size of each feed. Feeds can be dragged and dropped from left to right. This is especially useful during livestreams, allowing you to set one side as the live stream and the other as the preview, cutting between them as needed.

4. Sharing and Recording:

  • Directors can share their screen, upload and share files, and mute or unmute users. Additionally, you have the ability to summarize the meeting, record the space, and make someone or something full screen as needed.

5. Meeting Management:

  • Directors can end meetings, manage the flow of the production, and ensure that all aspects of the event or project are running smoothly. This role allows you to create a seamless experience for your team and audience.

Conclusion: The director’s role in MeetMo is crucial for ensuring the success of any production. With full control over the space, devices, feeds, and user management, directors can create a professional and coordinated experience for their team and audience.
